Dual Board Certification through the American Nurse Credentialing Center: Family Nurse Practitioner & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

“It never ceases to amaze me the wonder of the human body, mind and spirit. Given an opportunity, there will always be movement towards wellness, the best that can be achieved if we provide the environment and tools to do so.”

Emotional and Mental dis-ease can often be the foundation of our ills and when addressed with an open heart and willingness to explore, change can happen, providing new insights and the potential for an empowering, healing experience. The natural world is one of our greatest tools towards wholeness.

Throughout my thirty years in Nursing and Medicine, I have been devoted to studying, engaging and working with integrative approaches to wellness. Beginning with an apprenticeship in folk herbal therapies nearly 30 years ago, and discovering a connection to my Abuela in Puerto Rico, a healer in her own right, I have studied, taught and acted to bring a variety of integrative practices into my work.”

Ann Marie Dryden MSN is a dual certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Family Practice and Psychiatric care with over 30 years of nursing experience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Vermont where she earned her Family Medicine NP certificate and a Post-Masters certificate from Stony Brook University, where her Psychiatric and Mental Health NP was earned.

Additionally, Ann Marie is a 200h Sivananda Yoga teacher (YTT200), an ordained Interfaith Minister in the state of NY, and a practitioner of Transpersonal Astrology, Herbal Therapeutics and Women’s Wellness through Dance/Belly Dancing. Recently has completed the 100-hr training with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in MDMA-assisted therapy.
